Welcome to Project FFCCG!
For those of you not familiar with us, this project was created with the goal of making a collectible card game based on Final Fantasy, thus the name FFCCG (Final Fantasy Collectible Card Game). Feel free to take a look at everything we have, and if you'd like to help out,
let us know!

Progress is Slow

Yes, we are still here! Me and Alex have been discussing several issues regarding Editions II and III; we think we've got them figureed out. Also, the Edition II cardlist is getting there, it has about 100 cards in it so far. Currently, I (Muck Eemuck) am in the process of scripting the Dawn of Souls version of Final Fantasy II, since we can't use the NES Rom version (which I have also scripted).

We're trying to get a bit of revival going on in the forums, but unfortunately it is a slow process (as always.) Just a reminder that once we do get enough people back to the site/forums, we'll  be running another of our trademark Final Fantasy Survivor games! They've been a hit for a long time, and barring the last season (due to needless complexity), they've been a hit on our forums.

We're gonna keep on truckin as best we can. We're still working on Edition II and III, and we're going to be opening up work on several more Editions very soon. In addition, we may look into getting some test cards printed off at a professional printer, which we'll definitely keep people updated on. This will, of course, only include the cards we have art for, but if they come out right, we think they're gonna look great!

As always, if you'd like to contribute in any way, e-mail us or post on the forums! And feel free to use the shoutbox for anything at all, even if you just wanna say hi.

More Upgrades!

Alright, as you can see, the site it looking a bit different now. First of all, we have a shoutbox! On most parts of the site, the chat box you see on the right side of the page will be present. Feel free to make any comments, ask questions, or just say hi!

Next up, the site has a new poll, also on the right! The topic this time is which edition of FFCCG you're antcipating most, from FF1 to FF10. This is just for fun, it probably won't be used to decide which ones will be made next, and whatnot. I won't say it won't for sure, but its not the original intent of the poll. Anyway, its just fun to see which one is most anticipated!

Lastly, an important thing for you Firefox users out there. You see the little banner up above that says our site is currently being hosted free by GoDaddy? Well, normally we can't get rid of it. But, it can be rendered invisible by downloading the new AdBlock Plus extension for Firefox. The site looks much better without that banner, don't you think? For you IE users, we're gonna start paying for our hosting as of next year, but we got one year for free, and couldn't pass it up.

Well, that's it for now. Unfortunately, there hasn't been much changed in the databases yet, but we're still working behind the scenes! If you wanna be a part of any of the editions avaialble, let us know!

Database Upgrades

Okay, we've been working on the database, and we have the claim status done for now. When looking at a list of cards, you'll see that all of them have a letter in front of them, like (F). This indicates the card's art claim status. (F) means the card already has art, (C) means the card is claimed by someone, and (O) means the card needs art. Unless we can figure out a better system, we'll probably keep this.

Also, welcome to Robert, our newest member! People from the forum will recognize him as gameusurper. Welcome back!

Lastly, you'll notice the Edition II database has begun to be populated. That's right, Edition II, and soon III, will be available for art claims! Our teams are starting preliminary work on the new editions. As mentioned, Edition IV will be a little while longer, but don't worry, we're working our hardest!
