Locations represent all the towns, castles, caves, etc. that the game took place across. Locations are the basis of the FFCCG, as they provide Progression Points (PP) to players, which are then used to play most cards. Locations are also the only card type that don't cost anything to play. Instead, each player can only play one Location each turn. The effects of a Location are always active while it is in a location zone, even if the Location itself isn't active.
