Final Fantasy II
Edition II is not yet underway, but it will be beginning shortly. Edition II, based on Final Fantasy II, will hopefully bring about some exciting new cards to add to Edition I and FFCCG. Among them, well-defiined Heroes make their first appearance, as well as a finely-crafted storyline to be fleshed out in the flavortexts of the cards!

Currently, most of the material for Editiion II will be drawn from the Dawn of Souls version of Final Fantasy II.

  • Equipment  ( 66 items )

Equipment is all the weapons and armor the Heroes used in their quest. Equipment is paid for in GP rather than PP. Equipment can only be played on Heroes, and is divided into two types: Weapons and Armor.
Weapons are used to increase the attack of Heroes, and remove their unarmed penalty. Armor is equipped to Heroes to protect them from damage. In order for a Hero to use an Equipment, that Hero has to have the related skill with a high enough value.

  • Heroes  ( 27 items )

The Heroes are the powerful warriors who fought together against evil. Heroes have above average stats, and can progress over the course of a match using different Level cards. Heroes are currently the only Combat cards that can use Equipment.

  • Spells  ( 40 items )

Spells are the magical powers that were accessible by both friend and foe. Spells are divided into two categories: Black and White. Black spells are focused on inflicting damage and disrupting your opponent's combat cards. White spells focus on recovery and healing, as well as boosting your combat cards.
NOTE: FF2 had a very different magic system, and as such, we are currently unclear on how FF2 spell cards will work.
